Walking ahead never leads anywhere..specially if you have left someone behind!! Regrets, curses, sadness and invisible loneliness ...many such emotional demons chase you. How much ever noble an intention, betrayal is never justified. Betrayal??? Yes a very harsh term.. Specially and almost usually, betrayal to one is loyalty to another. What is it then?? What is the reality??
Leaving someone behind, is it betrayal?? Moving ahead cause its the demand of the situation?? Demand of the time?? A wise step to save many lives?? Sounds quite logical to my practical mind. After all virtue is in everyone's happiness, not in selfishness or a single person's Happiness! Perfect, aint it???
No my dear friend it aint!! Not that I am against peace and practicality of life, but betrayal is betrayal...its breach of trust. It could be betrayal of the betrayer also !! But its not the doer that suffers...its always the receiving end that becomes miserable.
Its actually all about perception. If you leave something because its wrong, why did you enter it in the first place?? Kids are given the benefit of doubt but the adults?? The one who are so very much sane, level headed?? Why do they make such blunders?
Okay lets blame it on luck, destiny, etc. We all need to put the Blame somewhere. We aren't strong enough to carry the load of guilt on our weak shoulders. How can we?? Aren't we always perfect??
So we blame that it was destiny which made us make a mistake and its our duty to correct it... a mistake of entering into any sort of commitment...it could be between any two people...and specially between friends it is an unexpressed commitment.
Mostly in relations where you are not bound by relations, such commitments means a lot. And when due to any valid and logical reason you break this unspoken promise, you are betraying..Such people..should we call them cowards?? no actually opportunist would be a better word for them..They are seasonal people. They leave you for your betterment!! And if you are the one like me who drenches in rains of emotions...please take care...you will get drowned. Keep yourself safe from entering into such relations..
But again...No safety precautions work against such Betrayal !!!So all the best friends!!
